The Kitchen
Chef Tomo opened SushiYOKO in 1996 and has been cooking Japanese food for more than thirty-five years. The idea has stayed the same the whole time: make it the honest way, and don't cut corners.
That shows up in the small things. Real dashi, fresh nama panko, premium Mugifuji pork for the katsu, and fish we take seriously. Lunch sets, rice bowls, katsu and tempura, udon and ramen, sushi and sashimi. The food our regulars keep coming back for.
Next door is Tomato2, our Japanese grocery. It runs on its own, with a pantry worth digging through and prepared food made fresh every day. Two doors, one family, both worth the trip.

Tomato2 has been a Japanese grocery since 1996. It came up from Norcross and settled in beside the restaurant, and it's a destination in its own right.
You'll find Japanese pantry staples, seasonal imports that change with what's good, and prepared food made fresh daily: onigiri, bento, tamago sando, fruit sando, and sashimi packs to take home.
