Japanese Grocery · Alpharetta · Roswell · Atlanta
Atlanta's home for fresh onigiri, bento boxes, and the city's first sushi push pop. Made every morning by the chef behind SushiYOKO.
Tomato2 is a Japanese grocery in Alpharetta, GA, inside the Roswell community and minutes from Atlanta. It is the everyday side of SushiYOKO: real Japanese food you can grab and take home.
Chef Tomo has cooked Japanese food for more than 35 years, and has run SushiYOKO and Tomato2, our Japanese grocery, since 1996. He still wakes up every morning to make the small dishes sold in the shop by hand, along with the sushi push pops, onigiri, and bentos on the grocery shelves.
The reason is simple. Not everyone can sit down for a full meal with us, and that should not mean missing out. Tomato2 brings SushiYOKO quality to anyone who wants to take it home, on their own time.
Fresh grab-and-go Japanese food, a curated sake and wine selection, and imported pantry staples you cannot find at a regular store. Here are the things people come back for.
Hand-pressed Japanese rice balls with classic fillings, made fresh each morning. If you have been searching for real onigiri in Atlanta, this is it.
House-made bento boxes with the same cooking, and the same homemade sauces, as the restaurant. A full Japanese lunch, ready to take with you.
Layered sushi in a push pop. We were the first to sell one in Atlanta, and we still make them fresh every morning.
First Sushi Push Pop in AtlantaThe tamago sando done right: rich Japanese egg salad on soft, fluffy milk bread. One of the best egg sandos you will find around Atlanta.
Fresh fruit and lightly sweet cream between pillowy shokupan. A proper Japanese fruits sando, made in Alpharetta.
The daily home-style sides Chef Tomo prepares each morning. They change with what is good that day.

A curated selection of sake and Japanese wine to pair with dinner, picked by people who drink it.
Imported Japanese groceries, snacks, and seasonal items, the staples that make cooking Japanese food at home actually work.
We are a family-owned shop, and we price like one. When our distributors have overstock, we pass those savings straight to our customers instead of marking everything up. It is a small way of looking after the people who keep coming back.
New items, restocks, and seasonal specials go up on Instagram first. That is the best place to see what we made this morning.
